Remake update!

Hello everyone!
Good news from the factory this morning; the remakes are finished and ready to be shipped. I'll attach photos below of some of the remade pins. These are factory photos so the lighting/colors don't look that spectacular but they look 100x better this time around!
I will be fulfilling the rest of the rewards as soon as I receive shipment. I've locked addresses on backerkit but if your reward has not shipped yet and you need an address change please DM me through Kickstarter within the next 3 days so I don't miss it.

Just wanted to push out a small update to keep everyone in the loop. As of right now, I have fulfilled all of the pledges that I can with the first batch of pins I received. Thank you to everyone who's shared photos on Instagram and Twitter so far. It's really helping me get through this awful circumstance. 😅
A majority of you have pledged for at least one of the pins that are being remade so I'm still waiting on those to fulfill the rest of the rewards. Please read my last update if you're unsure what I'm talking about.
My manufacturer let me know that it may be a couple more weeks as they are ensuring quality for the remakes. I've been checking in weekly however to make sure everything has been going smoothly. As always, I'll let you know if there are any further setbacks.

Hello again!
I received the second half of the pins and spent the day quality checking the entire batch. Luckily, the second half of the order was substantially better quality than the first half.
I have discussed the flaws with my manufacturer and they agreed to remake the defective pins. My rep agreed that the quality sent was unacceptable and because of this, they will be paying close attention to the production line to make sure the remakes are the highest quality.
Unfortunately, after quality checking I do not have enough seagull, pigeon, bluebird, or crow pins to fulfill all rewards that chose these items at this time. If you pledged for at least one of these items, please be advised your rewards may not ship out until the remakes arrive. Beginning next week, I will be sending out the rewards I can fulfill.
I asked for a loose timeline for the remakes and was told approximately a 3 week wait time. I urged my manufacturer to take extra time if needed as a rushed batch could just present more flaws.
Thank you for all of your kind words on the last update. This is the unfortunate reality of manufacturing sometimes so I appreciate that you all understand. Please reach out to me via Kickstarter dms if you have any questions or concerns.

Hello everyone.
In order to stay completely transparent, I wanted to share some upsetting news with you that will unfortunately postpone fulfillment of rewards.
Yesterday, I received half of the pin order from my manufacturer. Unfortunately, upon beginning my quality checking process, I noticed that a lot of the pins are severely flawed. I've been working with this manufacturer for years and have always had stunning quality when it came to the pins so I am not quite sure what went wrong. I am heartbroken and frustrated that such a large order would be cared so little for.

Fortunately there is a small amount of unflawed pins so I will be using those to fulfill as many rewards as I can during this time. I'm still waiting on the second half of the pins to arrive (including the freebie pin) so I will update again once I receive that shipment.
I'm going to be contacting my manufacturer about remakes for the defective pins and if no solution can be agreed upon, I will be having the entire batch remade by another trusted manufacturer that I've been using for almost 5 years. The downside to this being, it may be another month or two before I am able to fulfill all of the rewards.
I know this may be frustrating and an inconvenience to some of you, but rest assured I will do everything in my power to get rewards out as soon as possible. By backing the Kickstarter, you are supporting my crazy ideas and I'd like each and every one of you to have the best quality pins.

Production on all of the enamel pins has officially been completed! 😌🤌 My manufacturer let me know that the pins will be shipping out to me tomorrow which means....
Fulfillment will begin as soon as next week! 🎉 Once I receive the pins I'll be going through and doing a quality check. I'm extraordinarily quick at it so that step should only take me a day or two to ensure you guys receive the best quality ones from the batch.
I will also be sending out a final call for address changes through backerkit sometime in the next couple days. If you need to update your shipping address you can go to backerkit now to change it or wait for backerkit to send you an email prompt. Either way, you'll only have 48 hours to do so once I send out the final call.
Lastly, here are the finished designs. Manufacturer photos are notoriously bad due to factory lighting so please keep in mind the actual pins will look slightly different.
